Controlar ataques comunes con iptables

Buscando información sobre Scapy, que dicho sea de paso es una herramienta magnífica y que merece un post aparte, me topé con un tutorial de iptables que esta muy bien explicado y muy fácil de seguir y que sirve para detener los ataques mas comunes que se pueden encontrar en internet como por ejemplo los SYN Flood, smurf, port scanning, spoofing, etc etc. Visiten la guía en la siguiente dirección:
